The Aruba Technical Certification Program enables you to maximize your experience with Aruba products and provides additional benefits to your organization. Through our two certification tiers, you can prove your proficiency in wireless LAN technologies.
- Aruba Certified Mobility Associate (ACMA)
- Aruba Certified Mobility Professional (ACMP)
- Aruba Certified Mobility Expert (ACMX)
Aruba Certified Mobility Associate
Aruba Certified Mobility Associates (ACMA) can effectively deploy employee and guest networks using a single Aruba Mobility Controller, including small scale operational networks and proof-of-concept networks. Completion requires working knowledge of: start-up wizards and re-usable wizards introduced in ArubaOS 3.3.2; 802.11n operation and authentication using 802.1X and Captive Portal on the Aruba Mobility Controller; Aruba's stateful Policy Enforcement Firewall (PEF), Role Based Access Control (RBAC), and RAP technologies; and RF planning tools required to plan a wireless deployment.
ACMA is administered during the Implementing Aruba WLANs (IAW) and Partner Technical Training (PTT) classes. An online version of ACMA is also available through the Aruba Learning Management System.

The Aruba Certified Mobility Associate exam tests your knowledge of the following topics:
- Start-up configuration wizards
- Reusable configuration wizards
- PEF policies
- Extended firewall polices
- RAP
- User roles and RBAC principals
- Basic controller provisioning
- 802.11 a/b/g/n
- Access point boot process
- Authentication using 802.1X and EAP
- RF planning tools
- 802.11 link layer encryption
- MIMO
- Serial-over-Ethernet (SoE)
- Mobility Controller maintenance
- WLAN monitoring
The ACMA certification is valid for two years. Re-certification is achieved by passing the then-current version of the ACMA exam.
Aruba Certified Mobility Professional
As an Aruba Certified Mobility Professional (ACMP), you have a solid foundation in wireless LAN technologies and are proficient in the installation, configuration and operation of Aruba Networks products.

The Aruba Certified Mobility Professional exam tests your knowledge of the following topics:
- Aruba controller and AP details
- Aruba system architecture and design
- RF planning
- Using and building the firewall with roles and policies
- Authentication and encryption concepts and provisioning
- Multi-controller environments and redundancy
- Layer 2 and Layer 3 roaming operations and provisioning
- Intrusion detection
Exam material is based largely on the content of the instructor-led courses listed under recommended training above. Hands-on experience with Aruba products is a plus.
The ACMP certification is valid for two years. Re-certification is achieved by passing the then current version of the ACMP exam.
Aruba Certified Mobility Expert
The Aruba Certified Mobility Expert (ACMX) level is designed for wireless
networking professionals with advanced knowledge of and experience with
Aruba Networks products and technologies. This hands-on practical exam
is held at select Aruba Networks locations around the world.
